Division Series Game 1 Goes to Fremont, Thanks to Jarka
The Fremont Marshalls started the Division Series in style, downing the visiting Orono Oaks at Hedgehogs Ballpark by a score of 8-4 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Marshalls center fielder Mitch Jarka went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3.

Chris Dietel, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2019 draft, helped out the Fremont cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the designated hitter went 2 for 5 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"Nice win for us," said Dietel. "Now we'll go after the next one."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Hedgehogs Ballpark in Fremont.
