Morado Helps Aurora Cruise to 11-3 Win
Paints catcher Pedro Morado left his imprint on his team's 11-3 win over the Medford Desperados. Morado was 2-3 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 6 for Aurora in the contest. Aurora pitcher Eric White got the win. He's now 1-0. Cory Miles was tagged with the loss. Carlos Rios got the save, the 1st for him this season.

Morado contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing triple, for Aurora in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-0, Morado took a changeup from Cory Miles and stroked the triple to right-center. His 1st triple of the season allowed the Paints to leap in front, 3-2.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Medford manager Noah Alexander.

Aurora is now 22-37, while Medford is 42-17.
