Providence and Greensboro duked it out and the Hex came out victorious.

Led by 21-year-old Willie Flores, the Providence Hex knocked off the Greensboro Naturals, 5-2. Flores was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Hex. Getting the save was D.J. Nelson, his 14th.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Patrick Burt? The 21-year old catcher Burt stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put Providence up, 3-2. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.

"We did the things it takes to win a ballgame," said Providence manager Dave Hale.

The Hex bumped their record to 41-37 with this win.
