Razor Sharks, Mountaineers Play 12 to Settle Game 2, Mesa Now Leads Series 2-0
With second baseman Jayden Butler leading the charge, the Mesa Razor Sharks got past the Winchester Mountaineers, 7-4, in extra innings in Game 2 of the League Championship Series. Butler went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs at Mountaineers Park as Mesa managed to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Jamie Creed came through with a big-time hit for Mesa. The designated hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the 12th inning to give his team the lead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Creed told the Mesa Today.

Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday at Razor Sharks Ballpark in Mesa.
