Santa Ana Black Aces right-hander Byron Bruce pitched a good game against the Aurora Paints at Santa Ana Stadium, leading his team to victory, 7-3. Santa Ana reliever Ryan McEntyre picked up the win, raising his record to 2-3. Brayden Snell was tagged with the loss. The Black Aces own a robust 52-26 mark.

Santa Ana took a 3-2 lead on Bill Kibler's 21st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Kibler hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Aurora pitcher Brayden Snell visibly frustrated.
