Riding the 3-hit performance of the 19-year old center fielder Arturo Tinoco, the Medford Desperados defeated the Newport Unicorns, 7-2. Picking up the win was Darryl Snipes. He went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits. The right--hander struck out 6 and walked 0. This loss makes it 7 in a row for Newport.
