Bennett Blasts Earthquakes, Suns Take Game 2, 5-3
Moriarty shortstop Andy Bennett was the difference-maker for the Suns in what turned into a shootout with the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes. Bennett earned accolades after going 1-for-3 in the 5-3 Suns win. With the victory, the Suns moved into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Ryan Reinert helped out the Moriarty cause in the top of the sixth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the right fielder was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.

Moriarty manager Ron Kunkleman praised his team's "no BS approach."

Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday at Super Solarplex in Moriarty.
