When the games really matter, the Newark Flyers put on their best show, beating the St. Catharines Blue Jays by a final score of 6-5. Alex Ochoa went 5 for 5 with 2 doubles and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Newark now leads St. Catharines 3-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Ochoa hit a fastball from Greg Mortenson for a run-scoring double. The Flyers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Ochoa told the Newark Gazette.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Newark Fields in Newark.
