Ottawa Sent Home with 4-3 Loss
|
Little Rock pitcher Hugo Reyes had a large part in his team beating the Ottawa Lynx, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Little Rock reliever Hugo Reyes got the win, raising his record to 5-0. Gu Tian was tagged with the loss. With the win, Little Rock has a record of 38-14. Ottawa falls to 27-25.
The Golden Gophers got a big at-bat from catcher J.D. Gordon. For the game, Gordon was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Little Rock a 3-0 lead.
