Almost There: Newark On Cusp of DS Triumph After 3-1 Win
The Newark Flyers moved to within one game of the League Championship Series, downing the San Antonio Stallions on the road at Alamo Field by a score of 3-1. Flyers left-hander Kyle Sandor had a strong outing. He threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The win gives the Flyers a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 Division Series.
