Lynx Win at Julian, 7-4

Starting pitcher Tony Vigil pitched well enough to help the Ottawa Lynx beat the Julian Jammers, 7-4. Ricardo Flores snagged the win in relief. He goes to 6-0 on the season. Adam Combs suffered the loss. The setback makes Julian 20-54.
Ottawa used a timely hit from Lyle Blakesley to get the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Lynx ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Vigil.
