Roper, Capitols Wallop Tigers in Game 6 of DS
The Augusta Capitols and the London Tigers will take the Division Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Capitols beat the Tigers, 12-2, at The Capitol Dome to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Augusta second baseman Regis Roper was 3-6 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5.

Roper hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 5 against the Tigers. In the bottom of the first inning, he hit a 2-run home run that put Augusta in front, 2-0.

"It kind of got out of hand on us there," said losing manager Jose Torres.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Capitol Dome in Augusta.
