Berg, Black Aces Too Much for Unicorns

The Santa Ana Black Aces stopped the Newport Unicorns, 11-4, at Chanticleers Ballpark. The Black Aces got a big game from Nate Berg, who was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The second-place Black Aces have won 5 in a row.
Santa Ana got a big at-bat from Encinitas, California native David Raney, who in the top of the fourth hit a 2-run double. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Black Aces ahead, 3-0.
"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Raney told the Santa Ana Today.
