Nelson Lifts Black Aces to 7-3 Triumph
The Santa Ana Black Aces topped the Newport Unicorns, 7-3, with first baseman Aaron Nelson playing a big role. Nelson went 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Black Aces in the win. Chris Williams, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities. The Black Aces improved to a lofty 56-16.

With Santa Ana leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Nelson hit a fastball from Ivan Sanchez for a 2-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Black Aces ahead, 3-0.
