London Takes 2-1 Series Lead with Walk-off Win
The London Tigers nearly wasted a strong game from starter Sean Cofield, but were saved by some timely hitting in a 9th inning walk-off win over the Augusta Capitols today.

Cofield pitched well in the 3-2 win at Ballpark of Oklahoma City. He threw 8.1 innings of 7-hit ball. The win allowed London to seize a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 Division Series.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when London right fielder Roberto Perez, facing Tim Kondas, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Tigers the 3-2 win.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Perez.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Oklahoma City in London.
