Almost There: London On Cusp of DS Triumph After 4-2 Win
The London Tigers moved to within one game of the League Championship Series, downing the visiting Hamilton Bulldogs at Ballpark of Oklahoma City by a score of 4-2. Tigers left-hander Joel Daniels had a strong outing in which he threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball. The win gives the Tigers a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 Division Series.

Alex Mendoza dealt the Bulldogs a blow in the bottom of the seventh. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and London leading 2-0, Mendoza hit a 2-0 fastball for a 2-run double.

"I felt good up there," said Mendoza. "I saw the ball well."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Oklahoma City in London.
