Grams Handcuffs Bulldogs, Tigers Seize 2-1 Advantage in DS
|
The London Tigers got an exceptional performance from starter Jimmy Grams, who silenced the Hamilton offense en route to a 5-0 shutout win in Game 3 of the Division Series. The Bulldogs could never get a bead on the right-handed Grams, who threw 9.0 innings of shutout ball. The Tigers now hold a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-7 series.
Grams confounded Hamilton hitters. Over 9 innings, he allowed no runs on 1 hit.
"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Grams.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Oklahoma City in London.
