The Waco Warlocks cut down the Medford Desperados by the score of 6-2, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman Dane Hove. Hove was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Warlocks. With the win, Waco upped its record to 37-37.
The Warlocks got a big at-bat from third baseman Arturo Farias. For the game, Farias went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 15th home run of the season gave Waco a 2-0 lead.
"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Medford manager Noah Alexander.
