Black Aces Get Hard-Earned Win
Medford center fielder Jeff Knisley was sensational. He went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Santa Ana beat the Desperados, 6-5, in 10 innings. The save went to Rick Deyo, number 18 for him. Santa Ana has 3 straight wins, Medford 3 straight losses.

Santa Ana used the timely hitting of Josh Brooks to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Black Aces on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
