The Santa Ana Black Aces beat the Medford Desperados, 3-2. Santa Ana pitcher and League City, Texas, native Byron Bruce led the way. Bruce got the win, improving to 6-1. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 5.2 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Rick Deyo closed out the game, earning his 17th save.
