Leonard, Razor Sharks Wallop Yard Dogs in Game 3 of DS
The Mesa Razor Sharks moved to within one game of the League Championship Series, downing the visiting Mobile Yard Dogs at Razor Sharks Ballpark by a score of 8-1. Razor Sharks right fielder Matt Leonard did some major damage. He was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. The win gives the Razor Sharks a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Division Series.

Leonard had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third to put Mesa in front, 6-1. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run off Mobile pitcher Josh McPherson.

"We didn't get the results that we wanted," said Mobile skipper Gil Gomez.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Razor Sharks Ballpark in Mesa.
