The Mesa Razor Sharks started the Division Series in dominant fashion, blowing out the host Mobile Yard Dogs at Mobile Grounds by a score of 10-2 and securing an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Razor Sharks first baseman Ty Lynch went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice.

Josh McIsaac helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Mesa a 2-0 lead.

"It's true for every sport, I think, but the playoffs are so short that you've just got to get in and get hot," Mesa manager Izzy Montano told BNN after the win. "We took care of the first part and now we're just working on the second."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Mobile Grounds in Mobile.
