Tolbert, Bellflowers Wallop Chargers in Game 6 of DS
|
The Buffalo Bellflowers and the Terra Linda Chargers will take the Division Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Bellflowers beat the Chargers, 6-1, at Ballpark of Plantersville to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Buffalo right fielder Tyler Tolbert hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice.
Tolbert had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the sixth, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Bellflowers went on to win.
"The competition leap this year was tough to adjust to and I feel like there has been another jump in the playoffs," said Tolbert, a rookie this season. "You're only playing the best now and everyone has time to rest and prepare for you."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Plantersville in San Rafael.
