Aaron Nelson left his imprint on the 10-4 Santa Ana win against the Waco Warlocks. Nelson, who is tied for 2nd in the SL1 in hits with 99, was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Santa Ana reliever Chris Williams picked up the win, raising his record to 3-1. David Winslow was tagged with the loss.

Santa Ana took the lead, 5-4, on Bill Bandy's 21st home run of the season. The solo home run came off Waco pitcher David Winslow in the bottom of the seventh.

Santa Ana manager Elias Quesada was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
