Division Series Game 1 Victory for Valentin and Terra Linda
The Terra Linda Chargers started the Division Series in style, downing the visiting Buffalo Bellflowers at Ballpark of Plantersville by a score of 5-2 to stake an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Chargers right-hander Omar Valentin threw 6.0 innings of 2-hit ball.

Ross Myer, the Terra Linda third baseman, contributed a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third inning to make the score 3-1, Chargers. For the game, Myer belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice.

"I just trusted my stuff," said Valentin.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Plantersville in San Rafael.
