Nationals Hammered by Brown, Drop Game 5 to Wolverines
Riverside Wolverines first baseman Mike Brown was the difference-maker at Nationals Park, as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game 5 of the Division Series. The Wolverines took the 11-4 win over the Jacksonville Nationals to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Riverside won the game in part because of Jaden York. The second baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Wolverines ahead, 2-1. For the game, York had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

Riverside manager Chris Rauch was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.

Game 6 is scheduled for Wednesday at Wolverines Ballpark in Riverside.
