The Ottawa Lynx picked up a win at Little Rock Grounds, downing the Little Rock Golden Gophers, 4-2. On the mound for Ottawa was right-hander Zach Heller, who played a pivotal role in the win. Austin Moore recorded the save for Ottawa, his 1st of the season. With the win, Ottawa raised its record to 44-22.

Ottawa used a clutch at-bat from Lyle Blakesley to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Lynx ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Zach throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Ottawa manager Nick Boyd.
