Black Aces Get Dramatic 5-4 Win
The Santa Ana Black Aces defeated the Julian Jammers, 5-4, in Sub League 1 action at Santa Ana Stadium. Santa Ana pitcher Byron Bruce had a standout performance. Santa Ana reliever Randy Wall picked up the win to move to 5-0. Dan Avis suffered the loss. Santa Ana is 41-22 and Julian, with the loss, 18-45.

Kyle Twigg was the walk-off hero for Santa Ana. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Black Aces designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Both teams played hard," said Santa Ana manager Elias Quesada.
