Jammers Take Tight Tangle
|
The Julian Jammers downed the Providence Hex, 8-7, at Ballpark of Providence. The Jammers were led by Chaz Bennett. Bennett went 2-3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Jim Unknown notched his 1st save in 1 chances. Julian is now 21-43, while Providence is 35-29.
In the top of the eighth, the Jammers grabbed the lead when Bennett hit his 1st double of the season. The 2-run double off Jim Miller made it 7-5, Julian.
