Ruhl Socks It to Hex, Cracks 5 Hits
|
It was a magical day at the plate for Medford Desperados third baseman Randy Ruhl. The 21-year-old Ruhl helped lift Medford to a win, 7-6, over the Providence Hex at Ballpark of Providence. Ruhl smacked 5 hits in 5 at-bats to spark his club.
Randy Ruhl singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Eric Kretzer in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Wally Jacob in the 8th.
