Desperados Keep Streak Alive With 4-1 Win
The Medford Desperados went home winners at Ballpark of Providence, thanks in large part to starter Ben Gallegos. Gallegos stifled the Providence Hex, enabling Medford to grab the 4-1 win. Gallegos picked up the win for Medford, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 6-2. Keith Price closed it out for his 3rd save.

Chris Reese contributed to the Medford win with a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Medford manager Noah Alexander.
