In a series that had a little bit of everything, the Oklahoma State Cowboys have edged the Florida Gators.

The two rival clubs went the distance in the tightly-contested Elite 8, with a 4-2 win in the clincher being the difference for Oklahoma State and giving them the ticket to the Final 4 with a 2-1 series triumph.

"We never stopped believing in ourselves. When push came to shove we were going to get it done," said Donall Reed, who was named series MVP.

For the series, Reed hit .600 with a .667 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Alabama Crimson Tide - Kansas State Wildcats series. That series is tied at 1 game each. The Final 4 schedule will be announced after the Elite 8 finishes.
