The Little Rock Golden Gophers overcame a good performance by Waco left fielder Dylan Phillips to knock off Waco, 6-4, at Little Rock Grounds. Phillips was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Andy Roberts closed out the game, earning his 19th save. The Little Rock win streak is now 5 games.

David Anast chipped in for Little Rock, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the bottom of the eighth inning. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 4, while scoring 2 runs.
