The home crowd had a good time watching the Little Rock Golden Gophers and Medford Desperados get after it.

Medford Desperados starter Darryl Snipes turned in a top-notch performance against the Little Rock Golden Gophers at Ballpark of Medford. The result was a win for the Desperados, 6-0. Medford is now 34-19, Little Rock 42-11.

The Desperados liked what they saw from Snipes. The 19-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Golden Gophers to no runs on 2 hits over 7 innings, and striking out 5.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Snipes.
