The Ottawa Lynx picked up a win at Rivermen Ballpark, dropping the Medford Desperados, 2-1. Esteban Montoya, who is tied for 9th in the SL1 in wins with 5, was the difference-maker. The save went to Ricardo Flores, his 11th this season. The defeat makes Medford 32-18.

Center Fielder Brian Nuzum made an impact for Ottawa, when he swatted a run-scoring triple off Emre Voss in the bottom of the second. For the contest, Nuzum went 1 for 3 with a triple and a walk.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Nuzum said after the game.
