Conditions were not ideal but Ottawa and Greensboro were able to put their game in the books.

The Ottawa Lynx clobbered the Greensboro Naturals, 13-3, at Naturals Grounds. Leading the onslaught was Dean Wolf. He slugged 3 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring three times for Ottawa. Ottawa has an impressive 33-16 record.

Julian Dixon broke a 3-3 tie in the top of the fifth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Lynx in front, 4-3. For the game, Dixon drew 1 walk in 5 plate appearances.

"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said Greensboro manager Nick Kendrick.
