Justin Husnick did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Greensboro Naturals from being beaten, 3-1, to the Little Rock Golden Gophers at Little Rock Grounds. Husnick was 2-4 with a home run. The winner was Little Rock reliever Willie Trujillo, now 4-0. The loser was Jose Chavez. The victory gives Little Rock a record of 41-9.

Bobby Barnes, who is tied for 9th in the SL1 in runs scored with 38, aided the Little Rock cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 3 with a walk.
