The Santa Ana Black Aces and Providence Hex played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.

In a well-pitched game between the Santa Ana Black Aces and the Providence Hex, pitcher Scott Lewandowski was fantastic. The Santa Ana left-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-1. Lewandowski picked up the win for Santa Ana, going 6.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 5-3.

Kyle Twigg, who is tied for 9th in the SL1 in triples with 2, aided the Santa Ana cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 2 with a walk.

"Makes our job easier," said Twigg, "when our pitchers shut the opposition down."
