Wolf Helps Golden Gophers Run Win Streak to 10
The Little Rock Golden Gophers soundly defeated the Julian Jammers, 14-4, at Jammers Park, with third baseman Dean Wolf a major reason why. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for Little Rock. Little Rock reliever Sean Moss picked up the win to move to 1-0. Jim Unknown suffered the loss. Little Rock, now 20-6, is setting the league on fire so far.

Little Rock used the timely hitting of Malcolm Garner to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Golden Gophers on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Young guys to old guys," said Wolf, "we're all going out there and doing what it takes to win."
