The Aurora Paints topped the Medford Desperados, 4-0, with youngster Ismael Negrete playing a key role. Negrete was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Paints in the win. The win puts the Paints at 15-35, while the Desperados drop to 35-15.

Negrete made an early impact for Aurora when he stroked his 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came in the top of the third, put the Paints on top, 4-0.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Noah Alexander.
