Another day, another victory for the red-hot Moncton Mounties.

The Moncton Mounties topped the Tiverton Colonels, 8-3, with youngster Adrian Dixon playing a key role. Dixon was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Mounties in the win. The first-place Mounties, at 120-20, lead the Northern Conference East Division by 21 games.

Mike Berlier went 1 for 4 with a walk, while scoring 2 for Moncton. The 18-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Miguel Flores. It was his 70th RBI of the season.

"I like our mindset right now," said Moncton manager Johnny Hoffman.
