5 times is the charm -- at least for Marc Alexander.

The Moncton Mounties right fielder tore up the Lincoln Princes to the tune of 5 hits in 7 at-bats at Lincoln Grounds. The offensive onslaught from Alexander powered the 23-4 Mounties win.

"Alexander was a tough out," Lincoln manager Jorge Vasquez said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."

Marc Alexander singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Ignacio Reyes in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

On the year, Alexander has hit .481 with 30 home runs, 115 RBIs and scored 112 runs.
