Chargers Use Late Score to Top Suns, 4-3
The Terra Linda Chargers took Moriarty pitcher Adam Hinton's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Super Solarplex. The final score had Terra Linda getting past the Suns, 4-3. Hinton went 7 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 5. Adam Brittain sewed up the save, his 10th. With the victory, the Chargers upped their record to 86-51.

Eric Altergott came through with a big-time hit for Terra Linda. The right fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I thought we competed really well," said Chargers manager Carlos Acevedo. "I thought the energy was really good."
