At Centerville Grounds, the Terra Linda Chargers and Long Island Torpedoes were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Getting a good performance from second baseman Kevin McDowell, the Long Island Torpedoes defeated the Terra Linda Chargers, 10-6. McDowell was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Torpedoes. The Torpedoes, now 60-75, have won 4 in a row.

In the bottom of the sixth, McDowell put his team in front with his 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came against Seth Flaming, made it 7-5, Long Island.
