Starting pitcher Kevin Harris pitched well enough to help the Whitby Bats beat the Lincoln Princes, 6-5. The win went to Abel Bults in relief. His record improves to 1-3. Roberto Gonzalez took the loss. The Bats have an impressive 87-47 record.

Randy Ruhl was the walk-off hero for Whitby. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bats pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It was a solid team effort," said Harris after the game.
