Despite a fine performance by third baseman Tony Sanchez, the Whitby Bats lost to the Lincoln Princes, 9-7. Sanchez went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The win was credited to Jordan Moreno in relief. His record improves to 5-6. Luis Perez took the loss. Roberto Gonzalez was called on to finish, recording his 10th save.

Lincoln used the clutch hitting of Josh Bolick to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Princes the lead, 5-4. For the game, Bolick had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Bolick.

Their 62-71 record puts the Princes third in the Northern Conference West Division.
