Pirates Deal Mounties 5-1 Defeat
Ryan Hadder, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2024 draft, never let the Mounties get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Pirates to a win, 5-1. The third-place Pirates have won 10 in a row.

Saint Pierre and Miquelon used a well-timed hit by Adrian Trejo to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Pirates ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

Saint Pierre and Miquelon manager Bryan Crockett commended his team for delivering "maximum effort."
