Alexander Leads Mounties to 14-11 Win Over Cubs
Moncton defeated Franklin, 14-11, in large part due to 18-year old right fielder Marc Alexander. Alexander drove in 6 runs. The right fielder had 1 double and 1 home run for the Mounties. Diego Garcia earned his 3rd save in 3 chances. Franklin's current losing streak is now 6 games.

In the bottom of the eighth, Alexander put his team in front with his 22nd home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which came against Jim Unknown, made it 14-11, Moncton.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Franklin manager Kerry McElree.
