The Buffalo Bellflowers buried the Long Island Torpedoes, 14-2, under a barrage of hits. Tyler Tolbert led the onslaught, going 2-for-4 for Buffalo. Reliever Steve Ray picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Steven Rudolph took the loss. Long Island now owns a losing streak of 8 games.

With Buffalo leading 11-0 in the top of the fifth, Tolbert came up to bat against Long Island pitcher Diogo Pavia. Tolbert hit a fastball to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 33rd home run of the season put the Bellflowers on top, 14-0.

"That was brutal," said losing manager Victor Sepulveda. "It'll probably keep me awake all night."
