Bellflowers Get Extra-Inning, 5-4 Win
The Buffalo Bellflowers wiggled past the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates, 5-4, in 11 innings at Wegman's Field. The win was highlighted by the performance of Buffalo pitcher Wayne Wright. Chris Hames snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 1.1 innings. He's now 3-1 on the season. With the win, the Bellflowers sit at 76-50.

The decisive blow was delivered by Josh Alcorn in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a solo home run off 23-year old left-handed pitcher Chase Harriger to win the game for Buffalo. The home crowd went nuts.

"This ballpark was lit," Alcorn said.
