Princes Take Down Bellflowers, 4-3

The Lincoln Princes beat the Buffalo Bellflowers, 4-3, at Wegman's Field. Tim Lunsford, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Lincoln reliever David McWilliams got the win, raising his record to 2-2. Justin Cox was tagged with the loss. The triumph makes Lincoln 42-78.
An important at-bat for Lincoln came with no one out in the top of the ninth. With the bases empty, Lunsford hit a solo home run, which contributed to the Princes win.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Lunsford.
