Reed, Whitby Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
In a tight tilt between the Whitby Bats and the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates, Chris Reed was the deciding factor. The Whitby right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Joey Bove finished to wrap up his 4th save. The defeat makes Saint Pierre and Miquelon 74-45.

Reed, who dominated for Whitby, earned the victory to move to 2-5. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 4. Saint Pierre and Miquelon batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
