Ortega Lifts Rams to 10-9 Triumph
Borrego Springs center fielder Luis Ortega had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Buffalo Bellflowers, 10-9. Danny Villanueva was called on to finish, recording his 19th save. The Northern Conference West Division-leading Rams are 92-26.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Ortega delivered big-time for Borrego Springs, stroking a dramatic 2-run double off Zach Kyte. The game-changing hit put the Rams on top, 9-7.

"Both teams had plenty of clutch hits," said Ortega. "It made for an exciting game."
